We are a fully inclusive setting and if we can meet the needs of a child we will.
This is based on discussions with the child's parents/carers
We do accommodate all children with additional needs we are an all inclusive nursery and look very closely at what our the child’s needs are.
We are on one level we also have a disabled toilet and breast feeding facilities within the centre.
Our cook works closely with the nursery staff of children with dietary needs and allergies.
We respect all our children and family’s needs so our staff work closely with the family and the cook to deliver this
The nursery cook is highly trained around nutrition and allergies, they personally purchase all food and wherever possible we use home grown produce. A substantial menu provides the ability to adapt meals to suit the needs and culture of our children also a vegetarian approach is offered.
A vegetarian approach is provided for meals and wherever possible we would use a language app to communicate to a child's family. Children are taught using a mixture of methods such as visual prompts/ cards/ Makaton and vocal.
